New Brunswick Counseling Center and Burlington Comprehensive Counseling offer a Confidential and Professional Testing drug-testing program, which is designed to detect the presence of alcohol, illicit drugs, or certain prescription drugs.

Types of Drug Tests

Drug tests can vary depending on the types of drugs being tested and the specimens used, such as urine or oral fluid (saliva).

Tests are commonly used for the following categories of drugs:
ETG, Alcohol, Amphetamine/ Methamphetamine, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Buprenorphine, Cocaine, Fentanyl, Marijuana, Methadone/EDDP, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP, Kratom, K2, Tramadol, Creatinine, Oxidants, and pH

Conducting Drug Tests

We use a certified lab, Atlantic Diagnostic Laboratories, and follow appropriate guidelines for drug testing.

  • FOR DCF referrals, we required a Special Approval Request
  • FOR WF/SAI referrals, we require UDS referral form and record release authorization.

Tests are done by a trained collector when you visit our program to collect specimens.
To ensure accuracy, the specimen’s chain of custody must be continuous from receipt until disposal.

To facilitate the scheduling for new clients, we offer two methods:
