Our focus is to guide our clients on their journey towards recovery and well-being.

What “Substance Use Disorder (SUD)” Means

SUD is a medical condition where using alcohol or other drugs continues despite problems in health, work, school, or relationships. It exists on a spectrum (mild to severe) and is treatable. Many people get better with the right mix of counseling, medications, and support. National Institute on Drug AbuseSAMHSA

Common signs can include strong cravings, needing more to get the same effect, giving up activities, or withdrawal symptoms. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and help works. National Institute on Drug Abuse
